Privacy Policy

Account and profile information may include your name, username, email address, Apple or Google sign-in identifier, profile image, city, state, postal code, settings, and preferences.

Health and fitness information may include goals, experience level, height, body weight, injury notes you choose to provide, body measurements, body scan calibration data, workout plans, exercises, sets, reps, loads, form and range-of-motion scores, tempo, fatigue and stability signals, session history, personal records, and related training metrics.

Camera and movement information may include workout recordings and ambient audio, thumbnails, camera angle and tracking-quality information, derived body and head landmarks, pose samples, movement phases, HUD timelines, captions, selected statistics, and upload metadata.

Social and communication information may include partner connections, private messages, shared workout sessions, wall posts, reactions, feedback, support requests, exercise requests, waitlist signups, and emails you send us.

We may collect purchase and subscription information such as App Store transaction identifiers, product identifiers, subscription status, trial dates, renewal or cancellation status, invoice records, and App Store notification data. We do not collect full payment card details.

Device and service information may include push notification tokens, device model, operating system and app version, locale, time zone, IP address, app interactions, screen and control usage, crash reports, performance traces, logs, diagnostics, attribution or campaign information, and security events.

PerfectRep processes camera frames on your device to count reps and calculate movement feedback. We do not upload every live camera frame as a separate image. When recording is enabled or you save a set, the resulting clip, its ambient audio, thumbnail, and derived workout data may be uploaded and linked to your account so the set can appear in your history and selected sharing features.

Derived pose and body scan information may be uploaded without the underlying camera frame. This can include body proportions, joint positions, movement timing, range, posture, visibility, confidence, and calibration measurements used to analyze your exercise and personalize later results.

Workout media may remain temporarily on your device while an upload is pending, for upload recovery, or in a playback or export cache. PerfectRep removes eligible temporary copies after confirmed upload or cache expiration, although media you save to Photos is controlled by you and Apple Photos.

PerfectRep can optionally request read-only access to your height and body weight from Apple Health. We use available values to prefill profile or body-scan information and improve measurement context. PerfectRep does not write data to Apple Health.

Health and fitness information obtained through Apple Health is not sold, used for advertising or marketing, or shared with data brokers. You can stop PerfectRep from requesting new readings in Settings and revoke Apple Health access in the Health app.

We use information to operate PerfectRep, authenticate accounts, log workouts, count reps, produce movement feedback, calibrate body measurements, provide plans and next-session suggestions, store recordings, show history and insights, connect partners, deliver messages and shared sessions, manage subscriptions, send requested notifications, and provide support.

We also use information to personalize your experience, evaluate whether features are useful, diagnose bugs, improve reliability and performance, prevent abuse, protect accounts, enforce our terms, and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information, use health or fitness information for advertising, or use PerfectRep data to track you across other companies' apps or websites for targeted advertising.

The app sends account-linked product usage events when Share Usage Data is enabled. These events can include screens viewed, controls used, workflow completion, interaction timing, workout context such as the selected exercise, and app or device context. They do not include camera frames or workout audio. Turning this setting off stops new optional product-usage events, but essential security, transaction, and crash diagnostics may still be processed to operate the service.

The website uses cookies or similar browser storage and analytics identifiers to remember state, measure visits and conversions, understand feature use, and diagnose errors. For example, a waitlist or support email may be linked to its submission events. You can limit nonessential browser storage through your browser settings, although doing so may affect parts of the site.

We share information with service providers that help us authenticate users; host the API and website; store database records and media; monitor errors and performance; deliver email and push notifications; and process App Store or web subscriptions. Depending on the feature, these providers include Apple, Google, Supabase, Render, Sentry, PostHog, Paddle, and email delivery providers.

We require service providers that receive user data to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law and to process it for the services they provide to us, not for their own targeted advertising.

Content is visible to other people only when the feature requires it or you choose to share it. Partner messages are visible to the conversation participants. A workout is not posted to a partner feed merely because it was completed; you must choose to publish or share it.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, to investigate fraud or abuse, to enforce our terms, or as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.

Subscriptions, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds may be managed by Apple or Paddle. Those providers process payment details under their own terms and privacy policies. PerfectRep receives the transaction, product, subscription, entitlement, and billing status information needed to provide access and support billing questions, but does not receive your full payment card number.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including authenticated access and restricted media paths. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We retain account, workout, body scan, partner, and saved-media data while your account is active and as needed to provide the history and features you request. We retain usage events and diagnostics only as long as reasonably needed for analytics, reliability, security, and legal obligations. Temporary local media follows the upload and cache behavior described above.

After deletion, limited records may remain for a reasonable period in backups or where needed for subscription accounting, fraud prevention, security, disputes, or legal compliance. This includes an inactive billing-history record linked to a one-way fingerprint of the account email so a prior subscriber cannot receive another introductory trial by recreating an account. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer needed for those purposes.

You can update profile and sharing settings, turn off Share Usage Data, disconnect Apple Health syncing, control recording, notifications, and public profile statistics, and manage partner sharing in the app. System permission access can be changed in iOS Settings or the Health app.

You can schedule deletion of your account and associated personal data from Settings > Delete Account. We send a service email with the scheduled deletion date and retain the account for a 7-day recovery period. Normal app access is paused during that period; you may sign in before the deadline to open account recovery and choose Keep My Account to cancel the request. When the deadline passes, deletion runs automatically. If Sign in with Apple is linked, its authorization is also revoked. Deleting the app does not by itself delete your account. You may also contact [email protected] to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy assistance.

You can unsubscribe from promotional email using the link in the message or by contacting us. We may still send account, security, subscription, support, and other service messages that are necessary to provide the service.

PerfectRep is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information, contact us so we can review and delete it as appropriate.

The service is operated from the United States. If you use it elsewhere, information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate, subject to applicable safeguards.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The date above shows the latest revision. If a change materially affects how we use information, we will provide notice where required.
